How to Use the Headline Studio WordPress Plugin

Connect the Headline Studio plugin and your team can analyze headlines directly inside WordPress, no matter who’s logged in. In addition to giving you access to Headline Studio features right inside of WordPress, the plugin adds additional columns to your Posts page for SEO Score and Headline Score. Available in Posts, Pages, & Custom Content Types.

Install the Headline Studio WordPress Plugin

  1. Go to your WordPress Plugins menu and click Add New.
  2. Search for Headline Studio and click Install Now. Once the plugin is installed, click Activate Plugin.
  3. Sign in with your current Headline Studio information, or, if you don't have an account yet, sign up here by following the prompts.

How to Use the Plugin in WordPress Editors

Gutenberg Block Editor

If you’re using the Gutenberg Block Editor, access the Headline Studio plugin in your WordPress post by clicking the Headline Studio icon on the top toolbar. Click Analyze to see your score. When you’ve made changes to your title, click Reanalyze to create a new version with a new score. All features available in Headline Studio will be accessible with the plugin.

Classic Editor

If you’re using the Classic Editor, you can find the Headline Studio plugin in the publish box section of your WordPress post. Click Analyze to see your score. Type your headline directly into the post title section in WordPress and click Analyze (or Reanalyze). Unlike the Headline Studio web app, there is no separate field for entering headlines.
