In a Stand Up meeting, lasting roughly fifteen minutes, each contributor answers three questions:

  • What was accomplished since the last meeting?
  • What is being worked on before the next meeting?
  • Any roadblocks adding stress or preventing the completion of a project?

Stand Up holds team members accountable for tasks while encouraging open communication. Additionally, it allows visibility over projects and the progress towards a well-defined goal.

True to its name, all participants usually remain standing to keep the meetings short.
