The email address used to route non-delivery reports, also known as bounce messages, back to the sender of an email message.

When an email is sent, the sender’s email server attaches a return path to the message header. The return path is used for routing error messages back to the sender, and it helps ensure that errors and undeliverable messages can be efficiently routed back to the appropriate sender.
