Search Engine Results Page (SERP):

A page that appears after a user submits a query to a search engine such as Google, Bing, or Yahoo.

There are usually two types of SERP features:

  1. Organic results
  2. Paid results

Organic results are the non-paid search results that appear based on the search engine’s algorithm.

Paid results, otherwise known as sponsored results, are the ones that appear at the top or bottom of the page.

SERPS are constantly changing as search engines strive to provide the most relevant and helpful results.
