Social Helpers in CoSchedule

Social Helpers

Create and customize social helpers to autofill your social campaign. With text, video, and image helpers, you can create better messages, faster.

Here are some of the best use cases for social helpers from real teams using CoSchedule. 👇

Text Helpers

Add text helpers manually (or add them to a social template) to inspire and autofill the copy of your messages in just a few clicks.

Default Text Helpers:

To help you get started, there are three default social helpers you can apply to any social message.

  • Title: This will be the title of the added URL.
  • Permalink: This will be whatever URL is added to the Permalink field.
  • Excerpt: The scraped excerpt of the added URL.

Custom Text Helpers:

You can add and save custom text helpers to any social template. The custom helpers you create give your team prompts and ideas for drafting new social posts. They also help you quickly apply copy across multiple messages in a social campaign.

Here’s a list of custom social helpers you could create to get started.

Tip: Custom social helpers will only show up in the social campaign they were created in. To reuse custom social helpers, use Social Templates.

Custom Image Helpers

Plan to create multiple image posts across your campaign messages? Add custom image helpers to quickly apply images to multiple social messages.

Teams often use image helpers to indicate specific channels, uses (quotes, infographic, stats, etc.) or even GIFs.

Video Helpers

Last, but not least – you can add video helpers to your social campaigns.

Use custom video helpers to add product videos, promotional videos, short interviews, mini-commercials, and other videos to your social campaign.

Remember, custom social helpers are only saved if part of a social template. Inspired to create your own? Customize a social template or create a new one to get started.
