Use OneDrive and Microsoft 365 with CoSchedule

Connect OneDrive to attach OneDrive files to projects, social messages and discussions, and to add Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents to projects. Available on every plan, including the free plan.

Turn on OneDrive for your calendar

  1. From your calendar, open Settings.
  2. Click Integrations.
  3. In the Cloud Storage section, click OneDrive.
  4. Click Enable.

Settings > Integrations is open to the Owner, Managers and Admins by default. Other roles see an access-denied page, and custom roles can differ.

Connect your Microsoft account

Once OneDrive is on, each team member connects their own Microsoft account. Work or school accounts and personal Microsoft accounts both work.

  1. In a project, social message or discussion, click to attach a file. The file library opens.
  2. Click the OneDrive tab.
  3. Follow the prompts to sign in to Microsoft and connect your account.

You can also connect your Microsoft account from your profile: click your name or photo at the top of the left sidebar, then choose My Account, then go to My Connected Services. OneDrive is listed there as Microsoft 365.

Attach a OneDrive file to a project, social message or discussion

  1. In your project, social message or discussion, click to attach a file. The file library opens.
  2. Click the OneDrive tab.
  3. Find and select the file, then click Save.

The OneDrive tab shows the files in My Files in your OneDrive.

Add a Word, Excel or PowerPoint document to a project

  1. Open a project and click Add Attachment.
  2. Select Microsoft 365.
  3. Choose whether to attach an existing document or create a new one.

Attach an existing document

  1. Select the Word, Excel or PowerPoint document in your OneDrive.
  2. Click Save.

Create a new document

  1. Choose a Word, Excel or PowerPoint document.
  2. Name the new document.

Once the document is attached, click Preview to see a read-only version, or Open in OneDrive to edit it.

Older Office formats attach too. Preview is available for .doc and .xls files, but not for .ppt, .odt, .ods or .odp files.

Disconnect or reconnect OneDrive

To disconnect your own account, click your name or photo at the top of the left sidebar, then choose My Account. Under My Connected Services, click Disconnect next to the account. OneDrive is listed there as Microsoft 365. People with access to Settings > Integrations can also see the connected OneDrive accounts in Settings > Integrations > OneDrive. For reconnect steps, see Fix an integration that stopped syncing.

Security and permissions

  • Each person connects their own Microsoft account through Microsoft's OAuth sign-in.
