When an integration stops bringing content into CoSchedule or sending it out, a sync or a clean reconnect fixes most problems. These steps apply to Canva, HubSpot, Bitly, Google Drive, OneDrive, your email marketing service and the other integrations in Settings > Integrations. Available on every plan, including the free plan.
Settings > Integrations is open to the Owner, Managers and Admins by default. Other roles see an access-denied page, and custom roles can differ. Syncing, disconnecting and reconnecting integrations happens there.

Check status.coschedule.com first.
Sync the integration
- Go to Settings > Integrations.
- Click the integration.
- Click Sync next to the connected account.
Some integrations refresh in a different way:
Integration | What to do |
|---|---|
RSS Feed Sync | Sync the feed from the RSS Feed Sync page. CoSchedule also checks feeds about every five minutes. |
WordPress | Go to Settings > Integrations > WordPress, click Manage Site, then click Refresh Connection. |
Calendar Sync | Nothing to sync in CoSchedule. The other calendar app refreshes on its own schedule, which can take several hours. |
Webhooks | Open the webhook and check that it's still Active. |
If the sync times out, or the last sync still shows Never, reconnect the integration.
Reconnect the integration
- Open CoSchedule in a private browser window, with cookies allowed.
- In another tab of that window, sign in to the other tool with the account you want to connect.
- In CoSchedule, go to Settings > Integrations and click the integration.
- Click Disconnect next to the account.
- Connect the account again and follow the prompts.
- Click Sync.
Disconnecting some integrations removes their items from your calendar. Disconnecting Mailchimp removes that account's emails, and disconnecting a WordPress site removes its scheduled posts and the social messages attached to them. Check the integration's article before you disconnect.
If it still won't connect, remove CoSchedule's access in the other tool, then connect again. For Google Drive, Google explains how to remove an app's access to your account.
Check who connected the account
- Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox connect per person. Each team member connects their own account. To see your own connections, click your name or photo at the top of the left sidebar, choose My Account, and go to My Connected Services.
- Canva also connects per person. To sync or disconnect Canva accounts, go to Settings > Integrations > Canva.
- Other integrations, such as Bitly, use one account for the whole calendar. If the person who connected it leaves your team, disconnect their account and connect one your team controls.
Reschedule anything that failed
Social messages that failed while an integration was broken, for example because of a Bitly quota error, don't retry on their own. Reschedule them once the integration works again. See Reschedule a social message.
