How to Connect Canva To CoSchedule
- From your calendar, open Settings
- Under the main Settings tab, click Integrations
- Locate and click Canva
- Click Enable and follow the steps to connect your Canva account
- Once Canva is connected, you can access designs from your Canva account inside CoSchedule. The files accessible from Canva in CoSchedule mirror the permissions settings in your personal Canva account.
Attach Canva Files to Projects, Social Messages, or Discussions
Social Messages
When working with social messages Canva designs can be exported into video or photo, regardless of what type of design they are. Be sure to click the image icon when uploading if you'd like to export as an image file, or click the video icon when uploading if you'd like to export as a video file.- Within your Social Message, click to attach an image or video file which will open the file library
- Navigate to the Canva tab and locate your design
- To edit the design, click Edit in Canva
- To attach the design, select the design and click Export from Canva
Projects and Discussions
When you attach a Canva export to a discussion or as a file attachment on a project, it will default to an image export. It's not possible to export as a video within projects/discussions.- Within your Project or Discussion, click to attach a file which will open the file library
- Navigate to the Canva tab and locate your design
- To edit the design, click Edit in Canva
- To attach the design, select the design and click Export from Canva
How to Manage Connected Canva Accounts
As your team members connect their Canva accounts, you can monitor and disconnect accounts if needed.- From your calendar, open Settings
- Under Settings, click Integrations
- Click on Canva
- Towards the bottom of the page, you can click to Sync or Disconnect connected Canva accounts
- At the very bottom of the page, you have the option to Disable Canva. This action will completely disable the integration from your calendar.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Canva designs can be exported into video or photo, regardless of what type of design they are. Be sure to click the image icon when uploading if you'd like to export as an image file, or click the video icon when uploading if you'd like to export as a video file.
- Deleting a file exported from Canva from a project in CoSchedule will not remove the file from your Canva account.
- Connected Canva accounts are accessible at the user level. This means that only the user who connected the Canva account to CoSchedule can export designs from that Canva account. Once a file has been exported to CoSchedule, any team member can access it from the All Uploads section of the file picker.
- When exporting multi-page Canva designs, all pages will be exported. Due to a limitation with the API Canva provides, it's impossible to select from the pages.
