Why are URLs not being posted in the content of my Link-Type Messages?

If you have added the {Permalink} Social Helper or a URL to the Text of your Link-Type message, you might see that the URL is not being posted when publishing messages to LinkedIn and Facebook. This is because LinkedIn and Facebook automatically remove the URL to reduce redundancy.

Example:

This is what the message looks like when scheduling inside CoSchedule.

When published, this is what will appear on Facebook and LinkedIn.

If you would like to keep the URL inside of the Text part of your Link-Type message, you have to add non-link text or hashtags after the URL. This will make sure Facebook and LinkedIn do not remove the URL.
