You can cancel a Starter or Professional subscription, or a trial, yourself from Settings > Billing. The account Owner and any Manager can do it.
Read the Cancellation and refund policy before you cancel. If you want a refund, cancel first, then request it.
Cancel a Starter or Professional plan
- From your calendar, open Settings.
- Click Billing.
- Click the three-dot menu next to your subscription.
- Select Cancel Subscription. The payment portal opens in a new tab.
- Click Cancel plan and follow the prompts until the cancellation is confirmed.
Nothing opened? Your browser may be blocking pop-ups. Allow pop-ups for accounts-billing.coschedule.com, then try again from a desktop browser. For how, see your browser's help, for example Block or allow pop-ups in Chrome.
To check that it worked, go back to the Billing page. Your subscription shows a CANCELED badge and the date your plan ends. To undo the cancellation, click Reactivate.
Cancel a trial
Cancel a trial with the same steps. You won't be charged, and the trial runs until its end date. Your subscription then shows "Your plan will cancel on" followed by that date.
Cancel a past-due plan
If a payment failed, your subscription shows only Update Payment Method. You don't have to pay before you cancel.
- From your calendar, open Settings.
- Click Billing.
- Click Update Payment Method. The payment portal opens in a new tab.
- Click Cancel plan and follow the prompts.
What happens after you cancel
Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. To move to the free plan when it ends, the Owner clicks Switch to Free. Once your account is within the free plan's limits, the switch takes effect right away. Your integrations stay connected, and ReQueue is removed. For the full steps, see Upgrade, downgrade or change your billing cycle.
Canceling doesn't delete your account. A calendar that nobody signs in to for four months is deleted after a series of notices; see Why you got a "Take action to keep your calendar" email.
No cancel option? Suite and some older plans
Suite and some older plans don't have a self-serve cancel option, and neither does any plan whose billing card shows a Customer Success Manager. If your billing card shows one, contact your Customer Success Manager. Otherwise, email support@coschedule.com. Do this before your renewal date.
Headline Studio and AMI
Headline Studio and Actionable Marketing Institute subscriptions are canceled separately from your calendar. See Manage or cancel your Headline Studio subscription and Manage or cancel your AMI subscription.
