Why you got a "Take action to keep your calendar" email

CoSchedule deletes free and ended calendars that nobody has signed in to for four months. Before that happens, every team member on the calendar gets a "Take action to keep your calendar" email.

Which calendars get this email

A calendar gets the notice when both of these are true:

  • It's on the free plan, or its trial or paid plan has ended.
  • No team member has signed in for four months.

A calendar with an active paid plan or trial is never deleted this way. The email names the organization it's about. It may be a separate free calendar on your email address, not your team's paid one.

What happens next

You get several notices before the deletion date. If nobody signs in by then, the calendar's data is deleted.

These are service notices, not marketing emails, so unsubscribing doesn't stop them. Signing in or deleting the calendar does.

Keep your calendar

  1. Go to app.coschedule.com in a desktop browser.
  2. Sign in.

Any team member's sign-in keeps the calendar. Can't sign in? See Reset your password or fix login problems.

Delete it now

If you don't need the calendar, you can delete it yourself or reply to the email and ask support to delete it. The notices stop once it's gone. See Delete your CoSchedule account.

What gets deleted

The organization and its calendars, projects, messages and files. Your user profile isn't deleted. Posts already published to WordPress or to social networks aren't affected.
