Owner
A calendar has one Owner. The Owner can do everything, including changing the plan, updating billing, deleting calendars and making someone a Manager. To hand the role to someone else, see Change the owner of your calendar.
Manager
A Manager can do everything the Owner can, including billing, except make other team members Managers.
Admin
An Admin can create and publish projects and social messages, assign tasks, change calendar settings, connect social profiles, and create templates. An Admin can't remove social profiles, remove team members, delete calendars or open billing.
User
A User can create and publish projects and social messages, work with tasks and apply existing templates. A User has no access to calendar Settings, so they can't connect social profiles or integrations or change statuses, and they can't create templates.
Guest
A Guest works only on the projects assigned to them and completes their own tasks. They can't create, publish or delete projects and have no access to social messages. See What guest users can do.
Approver
An Approver only approves social messages. When they log in, they see only the Approvals dashboard; they can't view or work on projects or tasks.
- The Approver role is available on Professional and Suite.
- Approvers don't use a user seat and cost nothing extra.
- Approvers can't use the CoSchedule mobile app.
See Set up and use social approvals.
