The account Owner and any Manager can change the card on a Starter or Professional plan from Settings > Billing. Self-serve plans are paid by card. On Suite, contact your Customer Success Manager if you have one, or email billing@coschedule.com.
Change your payment method
- From your calendar, open Settings.
- Click Billing.
- Click the three-dot menu next to your calendar subscription.
- Select Update Payment Method. The payment portal opens in a new tab.
- Add your new card.

Fix a failed payment
When a payment fails, your invoice becomes past due and you lose access to your calendar until it's paid. CoSchedule tries to collect the payment again, and after each failed attempt you get an email with a link to update your payment method. If the payment still can't be collected, the invoice is marked unpaid and the subscription is canceled.
To pay now:
- From your calendar, open Settings.
- Click Billing.
- Click Update Payment Method. On a past-due plan, it's the only button on your subscription.
- In the payment portal, add a working card and pay the open invoice.
If you see a Payment Authorization Required button, click it and complete the payment.
If the subscription is canceled after failed payments, you lose any promotional pricing on it. A Headline Studio subscription canceled this way also loses its credits.
Want to cancel instead? You don't have to pay first. See Cancel your subscription.
Update a Headline Studio payment method
- Sign in at accounts-billing.coschedule.com/subscriptions with the email address you use for Headline Studio.
- Click the three-dot menu next to your Headline Studio subscription.
- Select Update Payment Method.
If a Headline Studio payment is past due, the subscription shows only Update Payment Method. Click it to open the payment portal.
