How trials work

Starter and Professional each come with a free trial, so you can try the plan before you pay. Suite has no self-serve trial. It starts with a demo.

Start a trial

Choose Starter or Professional when you sign up, then enter a payment card. A card is required to start a trial.

To see when your trial ends, open Settings in your calendar and click Billing.

When the trial ends

When the trial ends, your card is charged automatically for the plan you chose. Changes you make to your plan during the trial are charged when the trial ends.

Cancel during the trial

If you cancel before the trial ends, you're never charged. Your trial keeps running until its end date.

  1. Cancel your subscription. See Cancel your subscription.
  2. On the Billing page, check that your subscription shows "Your plan will cancel on" with your trial's end date.
  3. Remove extra social profiles, team members and calendars until you're within the free plan's limits. For the full steps, see Upgrade, downgrade or change your billing cycle.
  4. When the trial ends, the Owner clicks Switch to Free to keep using CoSchedule on the free plan.

If your account is still over the free plan's limits on social profiles, users or calendars, nothing changes and you see "Before you can downgrade, you must take action on your account." Remove the extras, then click Check Again.

Once you're within the free plan's limits, the switch takes effect right away. It doesn't remove or unschedule any social profiles, users or scheduled messages. Your integrations, including WordPress and Google Drive, stay connected. ReQueue is removed.
