Each social network handles the publishing of GIFs differently. Here you will learn more about how to schedule your GIF for Facebook and Twitter.
Schedule GIFs for Twitter
Scheduling GIFs on your CoSchedule calendar is simple! To schedule a GIF image, create a social message. Choose an “Image-Type” social message. Click the Camera and upload the GIF.
Once uploaded, click Add Message. When your GIF is published to Twitter, it will be animated on your timeline.
Schedule GIFs for Facebook Pages/Groups
Scheduling GIF messages for Facebook is a little different than scheduling to Twitter. You will still upload the GIF to an Image-type message, but to get the image to be animated on Facebook, CoSchedule will publish the GIF as a video instead of an image.
To schedule a GIF image, create a social message. Choose an “Image-Type” social message. Click the Camera and upload the GIF.
Once you’re ready to schedule the GIF message, click Add Message. When your GIF is published to Facebook, it will be animated on your timeline as a repeating video.
