Why We Built CoSchedule

With any project, I feel like it is always important to understand the ‘why’ long before the ‘what’. Sure, CoSchedule has many great features and plenty to love, but why does it exist?

We saw a broken content publishing industry ready for repair.

“I just want to use fewer tools.”

“I just wish my team could all be on the same page.”

“I just want to see everything all in one place.”

We searched high and low for the solution to all of these needs for our own blog, but we couldn’t find anything that worked. Editing was hard. We needed to fix it. You agreed.

For WordPress, there is no better way to organize and plan your content than CoSchedule. We built it because we needed it, and as it turns out, so did you.

Drag-And-Drop For Life

Simply stated, the drag-and-drop calendar is better than cake.  It is the most sought-after feature from our early adopters, and one that is obviously difficult to perfect. We think we’ve nailed it, and our users tend to agree.

All-In-One Blogging And Scheduling

All of your eggs are now in one basket (but in a good way!). CoSchedule works alongside your WordPress blog to give you fewer tools and logins to manage. Most of the users we talked to used an average of four to five tools to do their blog publishing. We combined those tools into one place, giving you less to worry about and more to brag about.

A Team In The Know

The internal team and communication features of CoSchedule quickly became some of the most important as we gathered feedback from our early adopters. Now, teams can comment, assign tasks, and work from the same place – with or without WordPress access.

A Social Media Schedule To Be Reckoned With

CoSchedule will make you better at social media. You can create your social media messages as you blog, and customize each one to be more effective with your own custom hashtags and unique content. A blog post is only as good as your ability to get the word out there, and CoSchedule can help maintain a constant social media presence.

A Workflow That Works

Publish more content. Grow your blog. Build your audience. At the end of the day, this is what we all really want. CoSchedule is designed to make you a better blogger, and your team a better team. Finally, an editorial workflow that works the way you do.

Thank You
