We are just over two weeks into our private beta of CoSchedule, and I have to say that we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Our beta testers are doing an awesome job, and are giving our API a serious workout. To date, almost 2,000 messages have been sent using the plugin. Wow!
We are also currently tracking about 1,800 WordPress blog posts. Very cool.
As a part of our feedback process, we recently ask a few of our beta testers to share their overall impressions of the CoSchedule plugin as it stands today. I wanted to share a few of these comments with you, because the reports are very encouraging.
It has become a part of my work flow which I couldn’t do without. Being able to plan a “road map” for promotion of a given post on my various Social Media accounts is wonderful. I very much like it.
This is better (and simpler) than WordPress’ Jetpack “Publicize” plugin. I also appreciate the integration with Google Calendar.
You have a MVP, and I’d rather use this than other social-media plugins. I’m especially looking forward to the editorial calendar integration, and would be “very disappointed” if that feature was not available.
Absolutely! This is going to take a lot of the work out of promoting old and new posts!
I think you’re on to something great! I am loving what you have put together so far:)
Along the way, there have also been some great suggestions about how we can make the plugin better. We are listening to these ideas, and are already implementing several of the suggestions that we have received.
As an aside, I just have to say how helpful it is to get feedback from our users. It can be pretty easy for our team to make guesses about what users want. As users ourselves, we can be easily blinded by how we want to use the product, but your feedback helps us cut through that clutter and see different options that we hadn’t even considered.
We sincerely appreciate those of you that have made our plugin a part of your daily routine. We couldn’t do it without you, and we can hardly wait to show you more!
Of course, if you haven’t yet requested access to the beta program, you can learn a bit more about it here. We are still sending out a few new beta invites each week.
