Tag locations in Facebook social messages published from your CoSchedule calendar.
Enable Location Tagging
- From your calendar, navigate to Settings > Social Profiles
- Click to view your Facebook account, then enable Location Tagging
Use Location Tagging
- Create a Facebook social message and attach media.
- Click Tag Location and search. Search results will display Facebook places and pages that can be tagged.
FAQs
Why didn't my location tag work for my carousel social message?
CoSchedule only officially supports location tagging in single-image or single-video social messages. It may work with multiple images, but it's not guaranteed.
Why can't I tag a location in the way that I can from Facebook natively?
CoSchedule uses Facebook's API for location tagging, which works differently from the Facebook platform. When tagging a location in a Facebook social message from CoSchedule, you can choose from search results displaying Facebook places and pages that can be tagged.
