Connect a Threads Account to Your Calendar

Follow the instructions below to connect a Threads account, troubleshoot connection issues, or remove an account.

Connect a Threads Account to Your Calendar

  1. Make sure your Threads account privacy is set to Public — if it is Private you will not be able to connect. You can learn how to switch this setting here.
  2. From a private or incognito browser window, log into your calendar and open Settings.
  3. Click the Social Profiles tab, then click Connect Social Profile.
  4. Select Threads, then click Let's Connect.
  5. Log in using your Instagram account (when you create an account on Threads it is connected to the Instagram account you logged in with — use the credentials for that Instagram account)
  6. Follow the prompts until your account is connected.

Troubleshooting Threads Connection Issues

If you are experiencing connection issues, try the following steps:
  1. Make sure the Threads account is set to Public.
  2. Retry the connection process in an incognito/private browser tab or a different browser.

Remove a Threads Account from your Calendar

  1. Log into your calendar
  2. Open Settings, then click the Social Profiles tab
  3. Click on the Threads account you'd like to remove from the left-side menu
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Delete Profile from Organization
