Schedule an image or a video to publish as an Instagram Story. Available on Starter, Professional and Suite for Instagram Business and Creator accounts.
Schedule a Story
- Open your calendar and click +Create in the upper-right corner.
- Choose Social, then select Social Message.
- Choose your Instagram account from the drop-down menu.
- Click the image icon (Add media to message) and add one image or one video.
- Choose stories as the destination.
- Select Direct Publish, or select Publish via Mobile Notification to finish the Story in the Instagram app.
- Select the date and time.
- Click Save.
A Story takes one image or one video. If you add more than one image, or a mix of images and videos, Stories isn't offered as a destination.
What a Story can include
- Videos must be from 3 to 60 seconds long.
- Text isn't sent to Instagram for Stories. Anything you type in the message won't appear on the Story.
- Collaborators, location tags and product tags can't be added to Stories.
- Instagram doesn't support alt text on Stories, so the Story publishes without it.
To add text, music or other Instagram features, publish the Story with mobile push notifications and finish it in the Instagram app.
You can add Stories to ReQueue, the same as other social messages.
