If you are having trouble connecting your Facebook page to CoSchedule, please work through the steps below. These steps also apply if your social message failed with errors about reauthentication or permissions.
1. Confirm You Are Admin
You must be an Admin or Owner of this account to connect it to CoSchedule. From your Facebook page, click Settings > Page Roles to see if you are listed as Admin.
- If you are not an Admin, have another page Owner or Admin add you.
- If you are an Admin, have another page Owner or Admin remove you, and then add you back as an Admin user.
Next, have another team member confirm they can see you listed as Admin from their own profile. Once it has been confirmed by another team member, try to reconnect the Facebook page to CoSchedule from your Social Profiles page.
2. Check Facebook Permissions
Check the permissions settings for CoSchedule under your Business Integrations settings.
Click View and Edit on the CoSchedule app. Make sure the Facebook pages, Facebook groups, and Instagram accounts you want to be connected to CoSchedule are selected, and that all permissions are enabled. Please note it can be a longer menu depending on your account so you may need to scroll.
Click Save, then hop back over into your CoSchedule Social Profiles page to see if you can connect the Facebook page.
Please note, if ALL permissions are not enabled, the connection will not hold.
3. Try Reconnecting In Different Browser or Incognito Tab
Open a new browser (for example, open Firefox if you are currently using Chrome) or open an incognito browser tab. Try to connect the Facebook profile from your Social Profiles page.
4. Contact Facebook Support
If none of the above steps worked, please reach out to Facebook for further troubleshooting. Unfortunately, CoSchedule can not go any deeper into troubleshooting your Facebook group connection.
